If you have listed your property with a Real Estate agent and it hasn't sold, there can be a myriad of reasons why. The agent may have not marketed the house correctly, the price is too high or the house does not show well. Maybe the agent just put it on the home listing service and hoped someone else would sell it. Maybe you had buyers, but they would not qualify, or the lender would not provide the amount the buyer needed based on current market conditions. In the meantime, you were responsible for the payment, insurance, maintenance and taxes.
